  • Mr. Alec Tracy is the co-founder, COO and General Counsel of Admiralty Harbour Financial Group. He has worked and lived in Asia for more than 22 years.
  • Mr. Tracy was a senior partner of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading international law firm. He worked in Skadden’s New York, Singapore and Hong Kong offices. As a senior global capital market lawyer, he advised clients on a broad range of equity and debt capital market transactions, acting on behalf of issuers and underwriters, including high-yield bond issuance, private placement of bonds and structured financing, as well as complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
  • Mr. Tracy has extensive experience in liability management and debt restructuring. He has assisted a large number of corporate clients in successful bond licensing, cash offer repurchase, exchange offer, corporate bankruptcy restructuring, etc.
  • Mr. Tracy has been listed as a leading lawyer by various international professional legal publications, including IFLR, Who’s Who Legal - Capital Markets, Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Chambers Asia Pacific. He also published academic articles on a range of international capital markets and corporate finance topics.
  • Mr. Tracy is a member of New York State Bar Association.
  • Mr. Tracy is currently an independent director of a Hong Kong-listed Chinese company. Prior to that, Mr. Alec Tracy also served as an independent director and chairman of the audit committee of Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities, a Sino-foreign joint venture securities company.
  • Mr. Tracy obtained a bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies (Cum Laude) from Princeton University, USA, and a JD (Magna Cum Laude) from New York University School of Law and was an editor of the NYU Law Review.
  • Mr. Tracy is a member of the Advisory Council of Princeton University’s the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China.
  • Mr. Tracy speaks Mandarin Chinese.
