Capital Markets and Advisory Department – Analyst / Associate Director / Director
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure quality execution of Capital Markets and Advisory transactions
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, conducting due diligence, performing data analysis, building financial models and drafting transaction documents
- Liaise with internal parties, clients, counterparties and third-party advisors throughout the entire transaction process
- Coordinate with relevant parties for roadshow arrangements
- Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, proposals, pitchbooks and other materials
- Responsible for client onboarding and other internal processes
- Track market movements and provide timely updates to the team
- Assist the team in developing and maintaining client relationships
- Other work assigned by the Firm’s management
Qualifications
- Direct investment banking experience across ECM, DCM, restructuring or other corporate finance transactions is required. M&A experience is preferred
- Analyst: at least 2 years of relevant experience. Associate Director: 3-4 years of relevant experience. Director: at least 5 years of relevant experience, with origination capabilities
- Degree from well-recognized universities, major in Economics, Finance or a related discipline. Candidates with an outstanding academic record are preferred
- Excellent learning and problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent, resilient and self-motivated, with strong curiosity and initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Reliable, with a strong sense of ownership in tasks undertaken
- Passion for working in a boutique investment bank with a long-term commitment to the role
- Strong commitment to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Fluency in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage
